Born in New York, where she attended schools and universities, Anna Maria Lombardo D'Agostino has always had a lot of Italy in her DNA, and it couldn't be otherwise, with two parents, dad Mario and mom Bice, born in Naples.
In love with Italy and the South in particular, Mario and Bice decided, immediately after the war, to leave, leaving the whole family behind. It was not an easy start. The attachment with the Bel Paese was strong and rooted, but the American dream was looming, it was time to look for new ways.
